Well, I have been pinning and hand sewing today on the Diva Dress, and there is where it is taking time and patience. I took some pictures of the process again, for my own pleasure and documentation, and for anyone else who is curious or interested! Shibori Twist Pattern and Resulting Scarf
Shibori Turq Forest Scarf This is the update to the Shibori with a Twist post. The poles needed washing again to soften up the fabric some. Then they needed to dry again. I have taken the turquoise/forest green scarf off of the pole now, and here is the result of the work. The patterns are very fluid looking, like there is movement going on. I left the texture in as well. Close up view Wonderful textured patterns


Shibori With A Twist
While waiting for a long weekend to come so I can make progress on the Diva panels, I am working on a couple of once dyed scarves in which I painted the second dye directly onto the fabric while it was wound with a twist on the poles. The dye mixture was pretty thick, maybe even too thick, but that is the process and joy of discovery!!
