Blue Diva #5

I thought it would be interesting to show the difference in the pleated folds of the Blue Diva dress panels before steaming and after steaming. Before steaming, the pleats are very soft and rounded at the peaks, and after pleating, they look sharp and defined, and very pointed at the peaks. After steaming, the piece looks darker since it is still wet. I rolled it in a towel for a couple of minutes while still hot to define the pleating more.

Next step is under way, and that is to dry the panels until they are bone

dry before removing them from the poles. Patience is the key here!!!
