Driftwood Scarf

This is a new scarf that I am particulary excited about. The color started out as toast, but after adding several shades of brown, the finished piece looks more like driftwood! The texture is superb...and I can't wait to create it again! I have been experimenting with brush strokes and the silk seems to like this very much. Several other browns have been brushed onto the scarf in selected areas, without distracting from the overall effect. One thing I discovered is that I can get a very pale ivory color from root beer brown and just immersing the silk for a very short time. A future piece to create!
